Chapter 8

An alternative view on working in meat packing. A woman who has had positive experiences. It doesn't say where she works, so it could be argued she works in a smaller meatpacking firm that is not trying to put thousands of pounds of meat every minute, but it does give a different side to the horrific stories.

Chapter 7

This is a look into the Smithfield meatpacking company. It videos workers quickly cutting the meat and the hard conditions that they have to work with. This goes hand in hand with chapter 8 as well. This is the revolution of meat. This is what is going on now and it needs change.

Chapter 3

A video to further my article. This is from a McDonalds worker. I also have reason to believe that this isn't a paid video just because of the poor quality. Honestly, it's awful. If I weren't looking for a video I might not watch it just because it's so awkward to watch. He is talking from experience.

Video 4: Marketing of the ages

This video goes in depth as to what marketing does. From when ads first appeared in television to now, the video goes into what steps companies will go through to get a good image. What companies will do to children and families to have their products purchased. It has a view of disgust and a view of awe towards the marketing schemes.

Video 2: Fast Food and Family Love

This video gives a brief summary of a famous south eastern fast food chain called In-N-Out Burger. I recently visited San Francisco and actually experienced this restaurant. It furthers theunderlining values of family and tradition. A lighter side to fast food and another success story. It talks about how a small family revolutionized the drive through window scene that well all recognize today and how a small establishment (literally quite small in size) grew to 200+ locations in four different states.
